Are you willing to reach your Potential?
We as human beings on average will only reach 10% of our full potential. I came across the stat last week and it has left me to wonder why this happens. The first thing that I thought to myself is, Why do we leave so much to be questioned? Imagine if da Vinci stuck to a coloring book instead of bringing the famous painting of Mona Lisa to life in the way that he had envisioned it. If we are only willing to unlock 10% of our potential, what can be the driving force to this?
I believe that at some point in our lives, we start to cap ourselves out. What I mean by this is we become content with where we are at in our lives, and it becomes comfortable for us. There are always ways to improve and become better at what we do, but the challenge is being willing to continously grow. Continual growth as an individual involves being open to learn new ideas from others, and implementing them in to our daily lives.
We are all born with potential. It is what we do with our potential that makes up who we are. Each person that is reading this is at a different point in their life. For some, you feel as though you are evolving your potential, and for others you feel as though you know the potential is there, its just a matter of bring it to life. Don't become comfortable with where you are currently at, take control and challenge yourself to become a little bit better than you were yesterday. Developing your potential is a life-long process, but it is something that has to be worked on little by little each day in order to ensure that you stay on the right path to your success.
