How Our Bodies Function

BASIC ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

Joint–Primary Need

Ankle–Mobility
Knee–Stability
Hip–Mobility
Lumbar Spine–Stability
Thoracic Spine–Mobility
Scapula–Stability
Gleno-humeral (shoulder)–Mobility

We take an approach at looking above and below the joint at which the pain or issue is coming from. A lot of times the issue can actually be coming from another muscle group, and not the actual area that hurts.

For example: I might be experiencing knee pain. This knee pain could actually be coming from my hip and lower back which is pulling me knee cap laterally due to a stiffness or tightness in the hip area.
